Activists holding a nationwide day of action Friday called for international support for people in Gaza.

“From New York to Gaza, globalize the Intifada!” chanted the protesters in New York City.

“From the sea, to the river, Palestine will live forever!”

“We are outraged at the situation in Gaza,” one Orthodox Jewish man participating in the day of action for Palestine in NYC told me.

“They use my religion to justify all these crimes. It’s totally wrong!”

One man apparently opposing or trolling the march began dancing at the front amidst chants of “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!”

As participants physically pushed him away, an NYPD officer took over and said “I’ve got him” and pulled him away from the crowd.

“Free, free Palestine!” the group chanted as they marched into Wall Street. “If we don’t get it, shut it down!”

“Israel bombs, USA pays, how many kids did you kill today?”

“NYPD, KKK, IDF, they’re all the same!”

“The media will tell you lies about the resistance,” a pro-Palestine speaker explained. “They will tell you that they’re kidnapping and harming women and children.”

“Liars!” she and the crowd agreed.

“The truth is that the occupation forces have killed at least 5000 women – at least 7000 – that is 70% of the murdered population since October 7.”

“Nothing, nothing justifies the martyr and genocide of innocent civilians in Gaza.”
