Today thousands of protestors came from all over the country and world to voice an opposition to American support of Israel. Although it was hard to estimate, somewhere between 10,000 and 30,000 people attended in total, with busses bringing people in from all over the country.
Before the march itself began, Democratic Socialist philosopher Cornell West and Khalilah Sabra (executive director of the MAS Immigrant Justice and Legal Clinic) spoke about their reasons for attending the protest:

The march then proceeded, with protestors making their way from The White House past Farragut and towards Dupont, and then circling back to The White House (Special thanks to Sean Wheeler for helping in this video):
In one interesting moment of this march, protestors began to burn an Israeli flag, but then were stopped by fellow protestors who seemed to think that this method was counter-productive:
When the protestors did make it back to The White House, police barricaded the sidewalk off from the crowd. One participant, wearing an “Anonymous” Guy Fawkes mask, attempted to climb a lamp post to place a flag at the top, was arrested which caused the crowd to turn against the police:
Finally, after a very tense standoff and physical pushing back and forth between police and the crowd, leaders of the protest were able to calm down their followers and finish the day with minimal violence:
