“No war on Iran!” chanted hundreds of protesters holding an emergency march Friday in Washington DC following American and Israeli strikes against Iran.
“Stop the war on Iran!” they chanted marching around the White House, which was fenced off.
An organizer announced that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei “has been pronounced dead” during the march, and faced immediate pushback from the crowd.
“Propaganda, it’s only Israeli sources that said that!”
Khamenei’s death has since been confirmed.
“Takbir, Allahu Akbar!” the crowd chanted as they marched to the State Department in Washington DC.
“F*** Netanyahu! F*** Donald Trump! F*** the FBI! F*** Israel! F*** HSI! F*** MPD! F*** all of them!”
“Shut it down!” they chanted in front of the State Department.
Mourning Ayatollah on Monday
“Long live the Intifada!” protesters gathered outside the White House Monday night to protest the American and Israeli strikes against Iran.
They waved Iranian flags and carried portraits of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who President Trump declared dead on Saturday.
“Endless wars, shut it down!” the protesters chanted. “From the belly of the beast, hands off the Middle East!”
“Tonight, the whole world looks on as war criminals Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu bring us to the verge of a prolonged, world-wide conflict, shame!” said Nick from the Party for Socialism and Liberation.
“This depraved war has already cost hundreds of lives, of schoolgirls, shame!”
“When fascism is at your door, what do you do?” protesters chanted outside the White House, some holding portraits of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. “Stand up, fight back!”
“From Iran to Palestine, occupation is a crime!”
“Brick by brick and wall by wall, Zionism will fall!” the protesters chanted. “Brick by brick and wall by wall, imperialism will fall!”
They say a major, nationwide protest for Iran will take place this coming Saturday the 7th.
