Protesters marched to oppose both presidential candidates Tuesday night and the debate itself over both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump’s support for Israel.
“Kamala Harris herself is a white supremacist, because white supremacy has become multiracial” a speaker explained.

“Kamala Harris herself is a white supremacist, because white supremacy has become multiracial” a speaker explained.
“Democrats, Republicans, genocide’s bipartisan!”
“Get out of the polls and into the streets! Free Palestine!” one speaker explained.
“We at Students for Justice in Palestine disavow electoralism and make no concessions to the Zionist entity and its accomplices. Kamala Harris has no interest in a free Palestine but our movement for liberation has never and will never champion American politicians.”
A speaker read a statement by the Lions’ Den, a Palestinian militant group in West Bank sanctioned by Biden a few months ago.
“Either we will crush the oppressor, or we will die,” he read.
“Say it clear and say it loud,” the group chanted. “Resistance, you make us proud!”
The Pro-Palestine protesters faked out the police by pretending to march past a barrier and then reversing course and quickly charging toward the debate after pushing the barriers aside.
They were met by another line of officers, reenforcing a checkpoint, and had a dancer party without challenging the officers physically.
The group ultimately turned and marched away.
“Tell the people just disperse, it’s over and done with,” a police officer told a pro-Palestine protester.
“Someone spray-painted that vehicle” he explained, which is why the protest couldn’t continue.
“So you’re profiling?” another asked.
“Whatever it is, it’s over and done with now, that’s it,” the police officer said.
Some protesters continued chanting “Allahu Akbar!” before organizers explained that the police were ordering dispersal but clarified “You can do what you want to do!”
It was right after this that one person lit a flare, igniting the conflict that followed as officers arrested him.
A handful of frustrated protesters linked arms and pushed into a line of bike cops, mimicking them by shouting “move!”
“CPD, KKK, IOF you’re all the same!” they chanted as a shoving match ensued.
Additional police arrived in riot gear and the scuffle spread and intensified.
With police assembling in riot gear including shields now, the remaining pro-Palestine protesters called to “disperse!”
Officers ended up facing off with a mostly empty street consisting of a handful of stragglers as well as remaining news cameras.
