“Hands off Lebanon now!” chanted protesters marching Tuesday night from the White House to the headquarters of the Washington Post. “From Gaza to Beirut, all our martyrs, we salute!”

“Arms embargo, now!” they said, demanding Biden cease arms shipments to Israel.

“Zionism! Shut it down! The war on Lebanon! Shut it down!”

Protesters marched through DC traffic and unleashed smoke bombs as they demanded “stop the U.S. war machine!”

“From Lebanon to Palestine, occupation is a crime!”

“Every time the Post lies, a neighborhood in Gaza dies!” the pro-Palestine/pro-Lebanon activists chanted as they reached the headquarters of the Washington Post.

They called the Post “complicit” for “refusing to label Israel’s terror, Israel’s violence, Israel’s genocide.”

“When we call Lebanon the graveyard of Zionism, it is simply a statement of historical fact,” one speaker exclaimed. Israel’s “pathetic illusion of invincibility crumbles more and more every day.”

“The soil of the Levant has been watered by the blood of our martyrs and it has grown a resistance movement that cannot leave. Victory’s divine, and it will set the world ablaze.”

One speaker in front of the Washington Post described that her uncle’s entire family in Lebanon was killed by Israel yesterday. She says she celebrates because “our people love martyrdom.”

She said that the uncle himself had previously passed away, so all those killed yesterday in her family were “all women and children.”

She added that she will “never ever recover from” that “Joe Biden and Kamala Harris made me complicit in the murder of my own family as a taxpayer in the United States of America.”
