A coalition of hundreds identifying as political ideologies ranging from communist to Libertarian to right-wing held the “Rage Against the War Machine” rally at the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday, where they primarily blasted American support for Ukraine. Among the dozens of speakers were three members of Congress.

Former Republican Congressman (and former both Libertarian and Republican Presidential candidate) Ron Paul suggested that ways to end the wars could include the abolition of the Federal Reserve and having 18-24 year olds vote on the wars.

Former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (who has since become Independent) began her speech by describing the fear of Hawaiians when they received text alerts falsely describing an incoming missile strike.

She condemned “Those warmongers who are carelessly and thoughtlessly sending us hurdling toward a nuclear Holocaust that would destroy all life and the world a we know it.”

“The only way we can stop them is when we stand together, lifting our voices in unity,” she says.

Former Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D) also spoke out: “In blowing up the Nord Stream Pipeline, this government has deliberately circumvented Article 1 of the US Constitution, the authority of congress to make war.”

(The State Department has celebrated the Russian Pipeline’s sabotage but denied involvement.)

Following hours of speeches, hundreds marched from the Lincoln Memorial to the White House Sunday afternoon to continue the “Rage Against the War Machine” rally.

Some argued with Ukrainians outside the White House before the group ultimately gathered in a circle to give impromptu speeches.
