FBI “Domestic Shield National Initiative” surveillance program revealed, targeted suspected J6er

Right after January 6, Illinois Boogaloo affiliate Jacob Balabuszko was nominated to be the subject of FBI surveillance under the secret “Domestic Shield National Initiative.”
The DSNI, which has never been exposed to the public until this reporting, is “an FBI platform that provides oversight to Group 1 Undercover operations (UCOs) that engage and target subjects of FBI investigations through their online activities.”
The FBI showed up at Balabuszko’s home, suspecting that he’d participated in January 6, which cell phone dragnet surveillance confirmed he had not.
Nonetheless, the FBI began surveilling Balabuszko’s travels and social interactions.
According to the document obtained by News2Share: “Generally, to be eligible for inclusion in Domestic Shield, the target must:
• Be the subject of a full field investigation (exceptions may be made for preliminary investigations on a case-by-case basis);
• Have a significant online presence; and
• Use their online presence in furtherance of criminal activity, to recruit others to participate in or support criminal activity, or to incite violence.”
