“Hands off Venezuela!” chanted protesters gathering in front of the White House this afternoon, condemning the American government’s bombing of Caracas and capture of Nicolás Maduro.

“We know that Trump is lying when he says this war is about drug smuggling,” an organizer said. “This is a war for oil!”

“From Palestine to Venezuela, US out of everywhere!” the crowd chanted.

“The US is reimplementing the same agenda, the same tactics that they have done all around the world, whether it be in Iraq, whether it be in Iran, whether it be in the countless countries where the U.S. has implemented ‘regime change'” said Adam from the Palestinian Youth Movement.

“When [Trump] talked about his operation in Venezuela, all he could talk about was the oil!”

“We don’t have a democracy here, that’s clear, but Venezuela has a democracy,” said CODEPINK activist Leonardo Flores.

“President Maduro is a man of honor, and one of the many things that separate Maduro from that dude [Trump] is that Maduro isn’t on the Epstein list!”

“No Donald Trump, no KKK, no racist USA!” chanted the protesters outside the White House. “Hands off Venezuela!”
