Protesters led by anti-war activist group Veterans for Peace attempted to blockade MacDill Air Force Base Thursday morning in Tampa, Florida in opposition to military support for Israel.

Several were arrested.
Officers struggled with some of the activists to make arrests, including one who was taken to the ground.
“Stop bombing babies!” chanted a woman in handcuffs.
“Our government is complicit in the genocide of all Palestinians not to mention the takeover of all of Palestine by Israel,” she said.
“We’re breaking six domestic laws by offering assistance to Israel to continue carrying out this genocide, so obviously the last thing the US actually cares about is protecting our domestic laws!” said a pro-Palestine activist as she was searched before being taken away.
