Following the passage of a new law in Texas that would ban most abortions after the sixth week of pregnancy, thousands of activists led by Women’s March held a “#RallyForAbortionJustice” and marched to the Supreme Court in Washington DC to demand the restrictions be overturned.

Activists participating in the “Rally For Abortion Justice” in Washington DC Saturday afternoon marched to the Supreme Court, where pro-life activists had already begun a counter-protest.

“We are the pro-life generation, and we will abolish abortion!” chanted the activists.

Heavily equipped riot police separated the two sides, while primarily facing pro-choice activists. No violence reportedly occurred.
