Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan spoke to a crowded room of followers Thursday morning in an event branded as a press conference at the Watergate Hotel. Although he did not take questions from the press, Farrakhan addressed Donald Trump directly.
“He’s telling lies all right, and you’re angry because he’s your reflection,” Farrakhan said. “He’s an anomaly. You can’t make him what you desire him to be so you can say, ‘That’s my president.’ He wasn’t made that way.”
Farrakhan used the opportunity to promote a book entitled “The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews: How Jews Gained Control of the Black American Economy.” He told the audience “This book is not antisemitic. It is the truth!”
The press conference marks the first time that Farrakhan, addressed comments directly to President Donald J Trump.
