Supporters of the Kurdish people rallied in Washington DC Sunday to support an Iraqi referendum to declare Iraqi Kurds independent from the Iraqi government. The activists compared the struggle to the American revolution and ay that the September 25th referendum is a peaceful alternative to violent revolution.
