With the Black Lives Matter movement taking flight across the nation, concerned black members of the Houston community feel that black trans women are not getting the attention and justice they deserve.
Activists and supports of the transgender community gathered to raise awareness for 18 trans lives lost this year. They say they want to create tolerance amongst people of all different nationalities.
