Montgomery County Police announced Tuesday the arrest of FBI Supervisory Agent Eduardo Valdivia for two counts of rape and related charges.
Valdivia remains in the FBI after previously being acquitted of murder after shooting a panhandler in a DC Metro train in 2020.
Montgomery Assistant Police Chief Nicholas Augustine alleged that FBI Agent Valdivia made contact with his first victim via Instagram claiming to be a tattoo artist named “Lalo Brown” who could help get her modeling work.
He allegedly sexually assaulted her during the photoshoot and later coerced her to return, claiming that there would be legal consequences if she didn’t.
When she returned, Agent Valdivia allegedly assaulted her again.
During the investigation, Montgomery Police say they located a second victim of FBI Agent Valdivia.
Agent Valdivia allegedly went by the pseudonym “El Boogie” contacting another woman, enticing her into a photoshoot.
When she refused to do “anything sexual” he allegedly sexually assaulted her as well.
Montgomery Police say they are looking for any additional victims and encourage anyone who had contact with “DC Fine Line Tattoos,” FBI Supervisory Agent Eduardo Valdivia, or his pseudonyms “Lalo Brown” or “El Boogie” to come forward.
News2Share asked Montgomery Assistant Police Chief Nicholas Augustine whether FBI Supervisory Agent Eduardo Valdivia used his position of authority in the alleged sexual assault scheme.
He clarified that the victims did not know Valdivia’s “status as an FBI agent nor either knew his true identity.”
“They do not know him as Mr Valdivia, they know him under ‘Lalo Brown’ or ‘El Boogie.'”
The FBI has reportedly suspended the employment of Supervisory Agent Eduardo Valdivia.
Valdivia is charged with:
-2 counts second-degree rape
-4 counts fourth-degree sexual offense
-4 counts of second-degree assault
