“Congress doesn’t eat until Gaza eats!”
An interfaith group of clergy including Christian, Jewish, and Buddhist protested inside the Senate and House Cafeterias in the Capitol on Tuesday. Police promptly warned they’d face arrest.

“Leave the room now or you’re subject to arrest!” United States Capitol Police demanded. “Let’s go, clear the room!”
Some activists continued singing as they walked out of the cafeteria, while others stayed and were arrested.
Those singing in the halls were warned to stop.
Activists cheered for arrested clergy outside the US Capitol being taken onto a bus in handcuffs.
“Up up with liberation, down down with occupation!” the group chanted as USCP officers pushed them further from the arrests taking place.
